A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Practice Coordinator to support attorneys in its Los Angeles disputes practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal administrative professional with strong litigation experience who can independently manage deadlines, filings, documents, billing, and day-to-day practice needs.The position offers significant interaction with attorneys and clients in a busy, collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, edit, format, proofread, and finalize briefs, motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documentsHandle electronic court filings and stay current on applicable filing rules and deadlinesCalendar and track litigation deadlines and coordinate with docketing as neededAssist with new client and matter intake, conflict checks, engagement documentation, and file setupMaintain organized electronic matter files and documentationReview and edit pre-bills and assist with outstanding billing and payment inquiriesCoordinate meetings, calls, travel, expenses, and attorney schedulesCommunicate with clients, courts, agencies, and outside counselAssist with attorney time entry and administrative projectsProvide backup and overflow support to the broader team and assist with training newer staff when appropriateQualifications5+ years of legal administrative experience, including litigation experienceStrong knowledge of litigation calendaring, court filings, and related proceduresExperience supporting attorneys in a law firm or comparable professional services environmentAdvanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to quickly learn new technologyExcellent proofreading, organizational, and written communication skillsAbility to anticipate attorney needs, prioritize competing requests, and independently resolve issuesStrong judgment, discretion, and attention to detailAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma requiredThe OpportunityThis role is well suited for someone who enjoys being an integral part of a litigation team rather than providing purely administrative support. You’ll have responsibility for keeping matters organized, deadlines on track, and attorneys prepared while continuing to develop your litigation expertise.

Location: Los Angeles, CASchedule: Hybrid, minimum 3 days per week in office; occasional overtime and schedule flexibility may be requiredCompensation: $100,000–$120,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus potential performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package
