Key Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of recent experience as a Legal Assistant in a California civil litigation practice, with strong knowledge of California state-court procedures and deadlines (references required).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience working with legal document-management, calendaring, and e-filing systems.Strong working knowledge of California civil litigation from case inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, expert discovery, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.Demonstrated ability to prepare, format, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents; accurately calendar deadlines; and e-file in California state and federal courts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors.Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple active litigation matters, competing deadlines, and attorney priorities with minimal supervision.Proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of assignments while working directly with attorneys, clients, and team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Please only apply if you have the above qualifications.
