This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.About the RoleThe Legal Assistant will support attorneys handling a high-volume caseload of civil litigation defense matters. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and a proactive approach to supporting attorneys and the broader litigation team.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesDraft, revise, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence under attorney directionMaintain and manage attorney calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial settingsSchedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetingsOrganize and maintain case files (physical and electronic), ensuring accuracy and accessibilityPrepare, issue, and track subpoenas and other records requestsHandle state and federal e-filing in Washington courts; PACER experience a plusMonitor case progress and proactively escalate issues requiring attorney involvementAssist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, binders, and case materialsCommunicate professionally with clients, court personnel, experts, and opposing counselAssist with time entry, billing support, and general administrative functionsPerform additional litigation support duties as assignedQualifications2–5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in civil litigation defense, preferably in a high-volume law firm environmentStrong knowledge of Washington court procedures and e-filing systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredWhat We OfferQPWB offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-paid life insurance and short-term disability401(k) plan with employer matchPaid vacation, holidays, and personal time offOpportunities for professional growth and advancement within a national law firmTo ApplyFor immediate consideration, qualified candidates should submit their resume.
