About the RoleWe are a property management company seeking a qualified Legal Coordinator with strong experience in Dubai tenancy laws, lease contracts, and rental disputes.The successful candidate will support the company’s residential and commercial property portfolio by drafting and reviewing tenancy agreements, managing tenancy-related legal matters, and handling cases and procedures before the Rental Disputes Center (RDC).Practical experience in Dubai rental regulations, RERA, Ejari, legal notices, and RDC procedures is mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and amend residential and commercial tenancy agreements, renewals, addenda, settlement agreements, termination documents, and legal notices.Review lease terms relating to rent, payment schedules, security deposits, maintenance, permitted use, renewal, termination, default, and dispute resolution.Identify contractual risks, missing protections, and clauses requiring clarification or amendment.Advise Management and the Property and Leasing teams on landlords’ and tenants’ contractual rights and obligations.Handle rental matters involving unpaid rent, returned cheques, rent increases, non-renewals, eviction, unauthorized use, subleasing, maintenance disputes, property handover, and security deposits.Prepare, register, and follow up on rental cases before the Rental Disputes Center (RDC), including first-instance claims, appeals, execution proceedings, petition orders, and settlements.Draft and coordinate legal notices for non-payment, contractual breaches, eviction, non-renewal, handover, and other tenancy violations.Track legal notice periods, hearings, submissions, judgments, execution actions, payments, settlements, and case deadlines.Prepare complete case files, including tenancy contracts, Ejari certificates, title deeds, powers of attorney, rent ledgers, cheques, correspondence, notices, inspection reports, and handover documents.Coordinate with external lawyers and legal consultants regarding rental cases, claims, disputes, and enforcement actions.Support negotiations and amicable settlements between landlords and tenants.Prepare settlement agreements, payment plans, acknowledgements of debt, and undertakings.Coordinate tenancy-related matters with the Dubai Land Department, RERA, Ejari, RDC, notary publics, and other relevant authorities.Coordinate with Finance regarding outstanding rent, returned cheques, deposits, payments, and tenant statements.Coordinate with Leasing and Property Management regarding lease history, renewals, tenant violations, and handovers.Maintain updated legal and lease registers covering contracts, notices, cases, hearings, judgments, settlements, execution actions, and deadlines.Provide Management with regular updates on legal cases, rental disputes, financial exposure, and required actions.Maintain strict confidentiality when handling company, owner, tenant, and litigation information.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.2–4 years of relevant legal experience in the UAE, including practical experience in Dubai tenancy matters.Proven experience in drafting and reviewing residential and commercial lease agreements.Hands-on experience with the Rental Disputes Center (RDC), including case registration, follow-up, hearings, execution, and settlements.Strong knowledge of Dubai tenancy laws, RERA regulations, Ejari requirements, and landlord–tenant procedures.Experience in rental claims, eviction notices, rent default cases, returned cheques, and property handover disputes.Previous experience in a property management, real estate, leasing, or legal consultancy environment is strongly preferred.Lawyer qualification, Bar membership, or a recognized practising certificate is preferred.Strong legal drafting, research, document-review, and case-management skills.Fluent Arabic is mandatory, with strong professional English communication and drafting skills.Strong organization, follow-up, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Currently residing in the UAE and available to work in Dubai.ImportantCandidates must have practical experience in:Dubai tenancy laws and lease contracts.Residential and commercial tenancy agreement drafting.RDC case registration and follow-up.Rental claims, eviction notices, execution proceedings, and settlements.Ejari, RERA, and Dubai Land Department procedures.Applications without relevant Dubai rental-dispute, lease-contract, or RDC experience may not be considered.
