The firm is dedicated to building long-term client relationships by combining legal expertise, strategic thinking, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of clients’ business contexts.Role Description The Legal Associate will support the firm’s legal practice by assisting with research, drafting, and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and opinions across various practice areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing legal issues, preparing case files, coordinating with clients, and supporting senior lawyers in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and corporate matters. The role involves attending client meetings, helping manage court submissions and deadlines, and ensuring that all work aligns with applicable laws, regulations, and firm standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, requiring close collaboration with colleagues and active participation in case and transaction management.The Legal Associate has over 5 years of experience in the United Arab Emirates, with comprehensive knowledge of legal and judicial procedures, local and federal court systems, Public Prosecution procedures, and case-related applications.His experience includes managing and following up on case files, preparing and submitting legal applications and memoranda, monitoring appeals, objections, and challenges, paying court fees, and handling all related procedures.He also has experience in coordinating and attending expert meetings, communicating directly with clients, addressing their needs and inquiries, and coordinating required procedures and documents, while carefully monitoring all legal and procedural deadlines to ensure that cases and files are handled efficiently and within the required timeframes.QualificationsStrong knowledge of Law and the ability to identify, interpret, and apply relevant Legal Issues.Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, pleadings, and legal correspondence.Advanced Analytical Skills to research case law, assess legal risks, and develop well-reasoned legal arguments.Effective Communication skills for clear written advocacy, client interaction, and coordination with courts and authorities.Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to practice or eligibility for local licensing in the UAE is an advantage.Experience in litigation, corporate/commercial law, or dispute resolution within a law firm or legal department is preferred.Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple matters, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is beneficial.Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in Dubai and adapting to diverse client needs.
