Legal Associate | DubaiI’m currently supporting a leading technology organisation with the appointment of a Legal Associate to join their in-house Legal team in Dubai.This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional who enjoys working closely with business teams and has experience across commercial and technology contracts.You’ll provide day-to-day legal support to the business across commercial activities, contracts and RFPs, working closely with internal stakeholders and senior Legal leadership.

Responsibilities

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, including services agreements, business partner agreements and technology implementation agreementsSupporting sales and business teams with practical legal and commercial adviceAdvising on contractual terms, risks and liabilitiesSupporting relationships with technology partners and vendorsManaging the contract repository and supporting contract management processesAdvising internal stakeholders on contractual matters and helping educate teams on key legal considerationsSupporting compliance with applicable export control requirementsConducting legal research across areas such as data protection and technology lawProviding wider support to the Legal team across documentation, governance and ad-hoc legal matters

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Law3–6 years’ relevant legal experiencePrevious in-house experience within a technology organisation is highly desirableStrong understanding of commercial and technology contractsExperience drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreementsStrong professional English and ArabicExcellent attention to detail, communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh levels of integrity, confidentiality and professionalismComfortable working independently while collaborating with wider business teams
