Operating from our Mumbai and Vasai offices, the appointed Associate will manage a dual portfolio of matters, holding direct responsibility for named clients. The Firm operates an expanding ecosystem of allied legal, technology, and knowledge initiatives; consequently, the role offers exposure to cross-disciplinary mandates and dynamic professional growth for lawyers seeking a modern practice environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaking appearances before courts, tribunals, and statutory authorities, alongside attendance upon registries and court offices.Drafting pleadings, applications, replies, and affidavits, as well as statutory and demand notices, and incidental correspondence.Drafting, vetting, and negotiation of commercial and technology agreements.Preparation of employment, workplace-compliance, and data-protection documentation.Managing IPR portfolios and disputes.Conducting the cause-list and limitation diary, managing matter files, and maintaining ongoing correspondence with clients.Contributing legal research and drafting support to the Firm's allied initiatives, including dispute resolution, academic publishing, and compliance advisory.Requirements & CompetenciesEducational Qualification: A valid Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.Case Management: The ability to autonomously conduct a matter from instruction to conclusion.Procedural Familiarity: Practical familiarity with court and registry procedures.Drafting Proficiency: Ability to draft in plain, correct English, supported by accurate legal citation.Analytical Judgment: The judgment to identify and raise the material question at the outset of a matter.Practice Versatility: Readiness to work across litigation, corporate, intellectual property, and data-protection matters.Commercial & Tech Acumen: Comfort working in a modernized, tech-enabled practice, alongside an aptitude for understanding the broader commercial and regulatory context of a client's legal issues.Location Preference: Candidates residing in the Western Suburbs of Mumbai are highly preferred for operational efficiency. Applicants must indicate their preference for the Mumbai or Vasai office in the application form.Linguistic Proficiency: Knowledge of Marathi, in addition to English and Hindi, is an advantage, particularly for the Vasai office.RemunerationRemuneration is aligned with prevailing industry standards and is referable to the level at which the appointment is made, as well as the experience and capability of the applicant.
