Legal Consultant - 12-Month Contract

About the jobWe are looking for an experienced legal professional to join the legal team of a leading financial institution on an initial 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional to join a sophisticated financial institution and take ownership of a broad range of documentation and transactional matters.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating and managing a broad range of trading documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes (CSAs), GMRAs and GMSLAs, while supporting business lines across derivatives, fixed income, treasury, securities financing, asset management and wealth management. You will work closely with counterparties and internal stakeholders, including the business, credit risk, operations and compliance teams, and provide legal and transactional support on OTC derivatives and structured products matters.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience negotiating ISDA and related trading documentation, with strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. A law degree is required, and legal qualification will be viewed favourably.
