Team members collaborate in a fast-evolving environment where innovation, accountability, and trust are central to the company’s mission.Role Description The Legal Counsel Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documents related to AI, technology, and business operations. The associate will support business teams by providing clear, timely legal advice on regulatory compliance, data protection, intellectual property, and other relevant legal issues. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and maintaining contract templates, assessing legal risks in new initiatives, coordinating with external counsel when needed, and ensuring internal policies and procedures align with local and international laws. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and technology, to enable responsible growth and risk management.QualificationsSolid foundation in Law, with knowledge of corporate, commercial, and technology-related legal frameworks.Experience in Contract Negotiation, including reviewing terms, managing risk, and supporting business stakeholders in deal-making.Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, such as drafting agreements, policies, and internal guidelines.Ability to identify, analyze, and communicate Legal Issues relevant to AI, data, privacy, and intellectual property.Experience providing practical, business-oriented Legal Advice to non-legal teams.Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent); a local practicing certificate or bar admission is preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.Comfort working in a fast-paced, innovative technology environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Prior experience in an international firm or in-house role within technology, AI, or cloud services is a plus.
