Team members join a mission-driven environment that values innovation, customer trust, and regulatory integrity.Role Description The Legal Counsel is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to Muhlah’s operations and growth. Day-to-day tasks include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with partners, vendors, and customers, as well as preparing and maintaining legal documents and templates. The role involves advising internal stakeholders on legal issues related to fintech, micro-financing, and regulatory compliance, including matters under the Saudi Central Bank framework. The Legal Counsel will monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, support policy development, manage legal risks, and coordinate with external legal advisors when needed. Collaboration with leadership, compliance, risk, and operational teams is essential to ensure that business initiatives align with legal and regulatory requirements.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience handling Legal Issues and providing Legal Advice.2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate legal matters.Excellent English communication and legal drafting skills Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including reviewing and structuring agreements that protect the company’s interests.Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting contracts, policies, and formal correspondence.Knowledge of financial services or fintech regulation, preferably within the Saudi legal and regulatory environment.Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
