This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to a diverse range of legal, commercial and strategic matters in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.The OpportunityReporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the business across multiple jurisdictions and group entities. This is a broad in-house position offering exposure to corporate transactions, commercial contracts, governance matters and strategic business initiatives.Key responsibilities will include:Supporting corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, financing and investment activitiesDrafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreementsAdvising on company law, corporate governance and company secretarial mattersAssisting with group structuring projects and entity management across multiple jurisdictionsSupporting lender requirements, approvals and consent processesProviding pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across the businessWorking closely with the General Counsel to deliver seamless legal support across the organisationAbout YouWe are keen to hear from lawyers who are intellectually curious, commercially aware and eager to broaden their experience in a fast-paced in-house environment.You will likely have:Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales with around 4 years' PQETraining at a recognised law firm, with experience in corporate, banking, finance, M&A or a related transactional practice areaPrevious in-house experience is welcomed but is not essential.Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsA solid understanding of company law and corporate governance principlesA pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to legal issuesThe confidence to work independently, take ownership of matters and support a wide range of legal workA desire to work closely with the business and develop broad commercial in-house experienceWhy Apply?This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth business at the forefront of the energy transition.
