Legal Counsel

We’re looking for a media and entertainment lawyer with 5-6 years post qualification experience to join our in-house legal team at Matrix. If you have experience across celebrity & media agreements, production, IP and commercial negotiations and bring a practical, business-first approach to legal, we’d love to connect.What you’ll be doing:* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of agreements, including celebrity, endorsement, film, production and licensing agreements* Advising on contractual risks and finding practical, commercially viable solutions* Negotiating with brands, agencies, production houses, platforms and external counsel* Supporting commercial negotiations and deal structuring* Managing contract execution, renewals, amendments and legal documentationWhat we’re looking for:* 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including 3+ years at a law firm* LL.B. from a recognised Indian university* Strong experience in contract drafting and negotiation* Strong understanding of media, entertainment and IP law* Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills* Someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable working independentlyWe're looking for someone commercially minded and solution-focused, and who can join relatively soon (30 days or sooner is ideal).
