We have partnered with a leading Lloyd's London Market insurance business seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its London-based legal team.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to move in-house or broaden their existing in-house experience, working across a diverse range of commercial, corporate and regulatory matters within a dynamic and growing organisation. The role offers significant stakeholder exposure and the chance to develop within a highly regarded business operating at the heart of the London insurance market.The RoleWorking as part of a collaborative legal team, you will provide pragmatic legal support across a broad range of business activities, including:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contractsAdvising on supplier, technology, outsourcing and service agreementsSupporting strategic business initiatives and projectsProviding day to day legal advice to stakeholders across the businessAssisting with corporate governance and regulatory mattersSupporting legal process improvements and risk management initiativesLiaising with and managing external counsel where necessaryAbout YouEngland & Wales qualified solicitorNQ to 3 years' PQETrained and developed within a reputable law firm or in-house legal teamExperience advising on commercial contracts and general commercial mattersStrong drafting, communication and stakeholder management skillsCommercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem solvingExposure to insurance, financial services or other regulated sectors would be advantageous, but is not essentialWhat's on OfferHigh-quality in-house legal experience from day oneBroad and varied workload with excellent stakeholder exposureSupportive and collaborative team cultureHybrid working arrangementCompetitive salary and benefits packageStrong long-term career development opportunitiesFor a confidential discussion and further information, please get in touch.
