Legal Counsel

About the roleThis role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, procurement, cloud service, data center, NDA, and strategic partnership contracts. You will advise on transaction structures, liability, service levels, data protection, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and compliance risks, while supporting corporate governance, licensing, regulatory filings, and new-market entry across Singapore and Southeast Asia.Key responsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, procurement, cloud service, data center, NDA, and strategic partnership contractsAdvise on transaction structures, liability, service levels, data protection, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and compliance risksSupport corporate governance, licensing, regulatory filings, and new-market entry across Singapore and Southeast AsiaManage external counsel and legal budgets, coordinating disputes, litigation, due diligence, and special legal projectsBuild contract templates, approval workflows, and legal-risk registers, and provide compliance training and day-to-day support to business teamsAbout youBachelor's degree in law or above; admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction preferred5+ years of law-firm or in-house legal experience; cross-border, technology, cloud services, data center, or infrastructure experience preferredStrong drafting, review, and negotiation skills across customer, vendor, procurement, service, confidentiality, and partnership agreementsFamiliar with Singapore and Southeast Asian corporate governance, data protection, intellectual property, employment, and commercial compliance requirementsExcellent English legal drafting and negotiation skills; Chinese capability is a plus; commercially minded, responsive, and sound in judgment
