The position also offers the opportunity to explore the use of AI and technology to improve legal operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage corporate and commercial legal matters across the Japan business and group entitiesDraft, review, and assess agreements and advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and practical solutionsSupport corporate governance, including management and shareholder-related processesProvide legal support for acquisitions, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and new business initiativesCoordinate corporate filings and work with external professional advisorsSupport the adoption of AI and technology to improve the efficiency and quality of legal operationsRequirements3+ years of relevant legal experience within a law firm or in-house legal teamFluent Japanese and EnglishStrong interest in generative AI and applying technology to legal workCommercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable working with international teams and overseas stakeholders
