Legal Counsel – Litigation, Contracts & Legal Advisory

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Consultant to protect the company's legal and commercial interests through strong contracts, proactive risk management, effective litigation handling, and practical legal recommendations that support informed business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation & Case Management: Handle court cases, disputes, legal notices, claims, and coordinate with external lawyers and law firms.Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and amend investment agreements, service agreements, employment contracts, MOUs, NDAs, partnership agreements, and other business contracts.Legal Recommendations: Provide practical legal advice to management on business decisions, contractual risks, liabilities, and dispute prevention.Risk Assessment: Identify potential legal risks before agreements are signed or business commitments are made, and recommend suitable protective clauses.Contract Negotiations: Support management in negotiations, settlements, and resolving contractual disagreements.Compliance: Ensure contracts, company activities, and legal procedures comply with applicable UAE laws and regulations.Legal Documentation: Maintain an organised record of contracts, litigation files, legal notices, deadlines, renewals, and obligations.Dispute Prevention: Recommend preventive measures to minimise legal exposure, financial losses, and unnecessary litigation.External Legal Coordination: Liaise with external legal consultants, courts, government authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.Management Advisory: Provide legal opinions, recommendations, alternative solutions, and cost-benefit assessments before significant decisions are made.Legal Reporting: Submit periodic reports covering ongoing cases, contract status, potential liabilities, legal expenses, and recommended actions.Policy Development: Assist in establishing internal legal protocols, approval procedures, contract templates, and escalation guidelines.
