We also provide professional 24/7 multilingual customer support.Today, Bybit is recognized as one of the most trusted, reliable, and transparent cryptocurrency derivatives platforms in the industry.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary legal and regulatory advisor for new product launches, features, and initiatives on the global platform being involved end to end in the launch of new productsConduct regulatory gap analyses for target jurisdictions to assess the permissibility and risk profile of product offerings in markets where the exchange has not yet obtained local licensesDevelop and maintain product compliance frameworks, playbooks, and decision matrices for the global product teamAdvise Product, Tech, Business and Fiat teams on regulatory constraints, user eligibility requirements, geo-restrictions, and risk mitigation strategies aligning these with internal guidelinesAssess regulatory classification of products (spot trading, derivatives, lending, staking, earn products, launchpad offerings, copy trading, etc.) across jurisdictionsMonitor global regulatory developments affecting product permissibility and proactively flag risks and opportunities to the businessCoordinate with Licensing Counsel and external advisors to align product launch timelines with licensing strategy and regulatory engagementSupport the development of internal approval processes (product governance review processes, sign-off workflows) for new product rolloutsPrepare regulatory risk assessments and internal memos to support product decisions by senior leadershipRequirementsLaw degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent); admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction is preferred3-6 years of experience in regulatory law, financial services law, or technology law or crypto — with exposure to product advisory, fntech or cryptoUnderstanding of cryptocurrency product structures (spot, derivatives, perpetuals, lending, staking, earn, NFTs) and their regulatory treatment across jurisdictionsAbility to conduct multi-jurisdictional regulatory analysis and present findings in clear, commercially actionable termsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable navigating regulatory ambiguity and providing risk-based adviceStrong written and verbal communication in English; additional languages especially Chinese are a plusCollaborative mindset and a good team player with the ability to work closely with internal teams as well as independentlyFast learner, able to hit the ground running. takes ownership of projects, has pride in the workDirect experience advising on crypto or digital asset products at an exchange, fintech, or financial institutionFamiliarity with regulatory treatment of derivatives, perpetuals, and structured products in key jurisdictions (e.g., ADGM, SFC, FCA, VARA)Experience with product governance frameworks and new product approval processesUnderstanding of consumer protection, advertising, and marketing regulations applicable to crypto productsPrior in-house experience in a high-growth technology or fintech company
