Team members contribute to a product that helps researchers make better-informed decisions and advance knowledge across disciplines.Role Description The Legal Research Assistant role at Atlas Workspace is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. In this role, the individual will conduct legal research across multiple jurisdictions, review case law, statutes, and regulations, and summarize relevant findings for internal stakeholders. The Legal Research Assistant will support legal document preparation by drafting memos, organizing citations, and assisting with contracts and policies as directed. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate research records, collaborating with legal and product teams to ensure compliance considerations are reflected in the platform, and communicating clear, concise updates on research progress. The role also involves monitoring legal developments relevant to the company’s operations and contributing to internal knowledge repositories.Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of legal principles and familiarity with case law and statutory interpretation.Experience with Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing legal memoranda, contracts, and policy documents.Excellent Research and Analytical Skills, with the ability to identify relevant sources, evaluate legal arguments, and synthesize complex information.Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present research findings to non-legal audiences.Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; a legal qualification or progress toward one is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Comfort working with digital research tools, databases, and collaborative platforms.Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Singapore; prior experience in a law firm, legal department, or research-focused organization is a plus.
