Job description1. General Legal Advisory & ComplianceProvide day-to-day legal advice and support to Directors and Departments on diverse matters including Commercial, Corporate, Tax, Labor, Import-Export, IP (Intellectual Property), Data Privacy, E-commerce, EPR laws (Extended Producer Responsibility Laws).Conduct legal research and provide daily updates on new regulations impacting business operations.Manage internal Legal & Compliance systems in alignment with LGE Korea Head Office’s policies and plans.Conduct legal training sessions to enhance legal awareness across company departments.2. Contract ManagementDraft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents to mitigate risks and ensure company interests.Oversee the contract lifecycle management: collecting, filing, and registering signed contracts onto the Legal Management System.Provide guidelines for Sales teams and PICs regarding promotion/advertisement programs; review program announcements to ensure compliance with competent authorities.3. Corporate Governance & LicensingHandle licensing procedures related to company activities (amending ERC (Enterprise Registration Certificate)/IRC (Investment Registration Certificate) for the company, branches, representative offices, and business locations).Prepare legal documents and handle administrative procedures for Board of Directors (BOD) and Member Council meetings (including agendas, minutes, and resolutions for Business Plans & Development).4. External Relations & Dispute ResolutionRepresent the company in working with government agencies and third parties regarding business operations.Handle litigation and dispute cases (if any) and perform other legal tasks assigned by the Legal Manager/BOD.Job requirements1. Education: Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B or Bachelor of Laws).2. Experience:Minimum of 03 years of experience in legal advisory and compliance.Proven experience in at least one of the following areas (expertise in multiple areas is a strong advantage): - Distribution & Commercial Contracts. - Corporate Licensing & Procedures. - Data Privacy - Intellectual Property.E-commerce3. Priority:Experience working in multinational corporations (MNCs) or international law firms.Experience in litigation and dispute resolution.4. Skills & Competencies:Language: Professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken).Work Ethic: Honest, straightforward, dedicated, and highly disciplined with good interpersonal skills.Adaptability: Ability to work independently under high pressure and willing to travel as required by work schedule.
