You’ll draft, redline, and learn which clauses are worth fighting for.Commercial litigation · Litigios mercantilesContractual claims, warranty and indemnity disputes, JV fallouts, professional negligence, contractor and defects claims, enforcement. Chronologies, disclosure, prepping counsel, a chair at the hearing.Real estate · InmobiliarioAcquisitions and disposals end to end, title, searches, contracts, completion, registration. The asset class underneath everything else.Employment & labour · LaboralContracts, Department of Employment filings, disciplinaries and Tribunal claims, plus the questions that come with a workforce split across a frontier. Often in Spanish.Review & drafting · Revisión y redacciónDiligence packs, leases, notices, board papers. Read it, abstract it, flag the clause everyone else skimmed, then write the first draft. Both languages, all day.The one fixed requirement · both languages, every dayEnglish not “conversational.” You’ll read Spanish documents unaided, prepare translations for lawyer review, and hold your own with tenants, agents, vendors and contractors with nobody translating for you.Español · no basta un nivel de conversación. A missed registry deadline costs real money; a blown limitation date costs the claim.● Discretion, and hands dirty.
