Legal Trainee - UAE National (Emiratization)

General Overview:We are supporting our client in their search for a Legal Trainee (Emiratization) to join their Dubai team. This opportunity is ideal for an aspiring legal professional looking to build a strong foundation within the insurance sector while gaining practical exposure to corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters.The role offers hands-on exposure to legal research, contract documentation, corporate governance, regulatory monitoring, and day-to-day legal activities while working closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.

Key Responsibilities

Review, draft, and analyse commercial agreements, contracts, and legal documentation.Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries on relevant regulatory and legislative developments.Support the legal team with corporate governance and compliance-related activities.Assist with contract negotiations and coordinate with internal stakeholders across various business functions.Maintain accurate legal records, documentation, and contract management systems.Liaise with external counsel when required and support ongoing legal projects.Monitor regulatory changes impacting the insurance industry and provide relevant updates.Support the preparation of legal reports, presentations, and internal communications.
