Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Team with a strong focus on innovation, quality, and excellence in aviation services and support.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Role:Completion of the tasks allocated to them on a shift by shift basis by the UK Station Manager or Shift Supervisor, or carried out as part of their routine duties, in accordance with company proceduresCertification of the work carried out by themselves under the terms of, and within the limitations set by, the personal company authorisationSupervision duties in respect of the mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners as allocated by the Shift SupervisorEnsuring that they are familiar with the MOE procedures and work instructions that affect their duties;Performing engineering duties ‘Away from Base’ or at outstations as detailed by the Maintenance Manager or UK Station Manager, including acting in, and representing the Company in a manner acceptable to the CompanyOperate as a flying engineer on flights that require such a function with the ability to depart with the aircraft at short notice;Ensuring that the cleanliness and interior trim of the aircraft are maintained to company standard;Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable and aircraft are positioned in the hangar or on the Titan designated parking area wherever possible.Candidate RequirementsEssential:Must hold a UK CAA - PART 66 Licence and have a minimum 6 months experience within the past two years, on at least the following aircraft/engine types: EMB190 GE CF 34, A320 CFM/V2500 + Leap, A330 RR T700Hold or obtain a recency letter from QA Department along with Company authorisation from most recent employerProvide supporting Logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recencyEWIS, FTS, HF (Initial + recurrent)Previous line and base maintenance experienceBe willing to work away from base to support the fleet and company operations and to be able travel at short notice as a flying Engineer or with AOG recoveryShift work including nights, working a 5x5x4 shift pattern giving two weekends off per monthHold a full and valid Driving LicenceHold a valid Passport with the ability to reside and work in the UKAbility to provide information for 5 year referencingAbility to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screeningWhy Work with JMC Aviation?At JMC Aviation, we specialise in aviation recruitment across engineering services and training to airlines, MROs and OEMs, leasing and asset management companies, and component overhaul organisations.
