The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality service, accurate market insights, and a streamlined experience for both buyers and sellers.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Palm City, FL for a Licensed and Bonded Yacht and Ship Broker. The broker will manage the full sales cycle for yachts and ships, including prospecting clients, listing vessels, conducting showings, and negotiating purchase agreements. Daily responsibilities include evaluating vessel condition and market value, preparing detailed listings and marketing materials, coordinating sea trials and surveys, and liaising with buyers, sellers, and third-party service providers. The role also involves ensuring compliance with all relevant maritime and brokerage regulations, managing contract documentation, and tracking transactions from offer to closing. The broker will maintain strong client relationships, provide market updates, and represent the company professionally at marinas, boat shows, and industry events.Qualifications Strong brokerage and trading skills, with experience managing end-to-end vessel transactions.Knowledge of freight and logistics processes related to vessel movement, delivery, and documentation.Familiarity with international trade principles and regulations affecting yacht and ship sales.Understanding of commodity markets and how broader market conditions affect vessel values and demand.Valid yacht and ship broker license and bonded status, or eligibility to obtain them within a defined timeframe.Proven sales and negotiation ability, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in contracts and correspondence.Comfort working on-site around marinas and vessels, including coordinating inspections, surveys, and sea trials.Proficiency with CRM systems, listing platforms, and basic office software for managing leads and documentation.Knowledge of maritime terminology, vessel types, and basic technical aspects of yacht and ship operations.Integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards in all client and partner interactions.
