Konick & Associates is seeking a fully licensed, experienced mental health clinician to join our collaborative group practice with a specialty focus in women’s mental health and women’s health across the lifespan. The primary client population for this role will include teen girls and adult women navigating emotional, psychological, relational, and life-stage concerns.We are particularly interested in clinicians with specialized training or experience supporting women through perinatal and postpartum mental health, pregnancy and fertility-related concerns, parenting transitions, perimenopause and menopause, and other health and developmental transitions that can significantly affect emotional well-being. The ideal candidate brings a nuanced understanding of the intersection between physical health, hormones, identity, relationships, and mental health.Clinicians at Konick & Associates provide evidence-based, individualized therapy within a collaborative group practice. The clinician in this role will work with women experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity development, stress, and other mental health concerns, while developing a specialty around women’s health.Experience working with neurodivergent women and teens, LGBTQ+ clients, and individuals with complex or intersecting mental health and health-related concerns is highly valued and aligns with specialty areas of the practice.

Qualifications

Fully licensed PhD/PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent independent clinical license eligible for practice and insurance credentialing in IllinoisMaster’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited educational programSeveral years of post-licensure clinical experience providing individual therapy to adolescents and/or adultsSpecialized training, clinical experience, or a strong professional interest in women’s mental health and women’s healthExperience with one or more of the following highly valued:Perinatal and postpartum mental healthPregnancy, fertility, pregnancy loss, or reproductive health concernsParenting and adjustment to motherhoodPerimenopause and menopauseHormonal or health-related transitions affecting emotional well-beingBody image, identity, or women’s health-related concernsAnxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship concerns affecting women across the lifespanStrong clinical skills and ability to provide evidence-based, individualized treatmentExperience working with neurodivergent individuals and/or LGBTQ+ clients highly valuedCommitment to culturally responsive, affirming, trauma-informed, and collaborative careStrong communication, professionalism, clinical judgment, and documentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group practice and participate in ongoing professional developmentAbout Konick & AssociatesKonick & Associates is a collaborative group practice providing therapy and comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment in one place.
