LICENSED ENGINEERS FOR DP2 VESSEL

Company Description Aries Marine Corporation is a privately held Louisiana company established in 1981 to own and operate self-elevating workboats (liftboats) and supply vessels in the Gulf of Mexico, with operations now extending to the Mid-Atlantic region. Role Description This is a full-time, offshore role located in Youngsville, LA for USCG Licensed Engineers serving on DP2 vessels. QualificationsValid U.S. Coast Guard engineering license appropriate for DP2 offshore support vessels, with current STCW endorsements.Hands-on experience with marine propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and dynamic positioning (DP) equipment on OSV or similar vessels.Strong skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and use of diagnostic tools.Knowledge of maritime safety regulations, environmental compliance, and class/flag state requirements.Ability to work safely in an offshore environment, collaborate with cross-functional vessel crews, and follow established safety procedures.Previous offshore or OSV/PSV engineering experience preferred; DP2 vessel experience is highly beneficial.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or maritime engineering education is an advantage.
