Company Description Driftwood Healing is a trauma-informed counseling practice serving children, teens, adults, and families through individual therapy and parent support. The practice provides specialized care for biological, foster, and adoptive parents, focusing on attachment, resilience, and healing. Driftwood Healing offers telehealth services to residents of Florida, Texas, and Alabama, expanding access to mental health support across multiple states. In-person appointments are available in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, creating a flexible care environment that blends virtual and office-based services. The team is committed to compassionate, evidence-informed treatment that honors each client’s unique experiences and goals.ResponsibilitiesTherapists at Driftwood Healing provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking healing and support. This position is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of clients to create and define treatment goals, provides long-term counseling in restoration of mental health difficulties, and supports clients systemically. This position is also responsible for collaborating with parents regarding therapeutic services, parenthood, human development and mental health education. We work as a collaborative team with a person-in-environment approach, which places emphasis on assessing and developing support both inside and outside of session.HoursSchedule is flexible and will be determined in collaboration with the practice ownerThe ideal schedule will include at least 18 direct therapy hours per week, including at least 6 hours outside of school hours (3pm or later on school days, or Saturdays)Our team meets weekly for one hour for clinical staffing and consultation, which is strongly encouraged for independently licensed therapists and mandatory for registered interns QualificationsMaster’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related fieldLicensed by the state of Florida in related field: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT (we are open to registered interns under appropriate license supervision)Advanced training in relevant therapy modalities strongly preferred: EMDR, TF-CBT, formal play therapy training, Sand Tray, etc.Professional, self-motivated, results oriented, and have excellent people and communication skillsCommitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care CompensationThis is a 1099 contract positionCompensation is based on a fee split of an established per-session rate; fee split and established rate are both based on experience and caseloadCompensation includes all costs of practice, including, but not limited to: Electronic Health Records and billing platform, furnished office space and supplies, listing on website, social media, and print materials, and steady stream of referralsRegistered Clinical Social Work Interns may receive license supervision as a part of compensation packageEMDR Consultation is offered for those who have completed EMDRIA-Approved Basic Training and are seeking EMDR Certification or Consultant statusTo Apply:Send resume, proof of licensure, and cover letter to hillary@driftwood-healing.com.
