That means realistic caseloads, collaborative teams, and leadership that listens.We're expanding our mental health programs and looking for a skilled, compassionate therapist ready to do some of the most meaningful clinical work of their career.What the Role Looks Like Day-to-DayAs a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You'll hold a blend of individual and group therapy, approximately 50–65% of your time in direct patient care with adults (and some adolescents). The rest is split across documentation, treatment team collaboration, and case management.Your core clinical responsibilities:Deliver individual and group psychotherapy using CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approachesLead process, psychoeducational, and skills-based groups focused on emotional regulation, coping, and mental wellnessConduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinationsDevelop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plansCollaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and peers in interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultationsSupport patients in understanding their diagnoses and building insight for long-term recoveryProvide care coordination with families, referral sources, and external providersComplete clinical documentation accurately and on timeWho We're Looking ForRequired:Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma- informed careMinimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth Active Lincensure:LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, LCSW, LCSW-C in Maryland LGPC, LGSW, LPC, LISW, LICSW in Washington, DC LSW, LCSW, LPC in PennsylvaniaLMSW, LSATP, LPC, LCSW in VirginiaCompensationClinicians with consistent group census and strong engagement routinely bring total compensation to $85,000–$100,000+.We believe you should understand how you'll earn before you apply — here's how it works: your base covers individual sessions and core clinical duties; the incentive layer rewards group facilitation and patient retention.
