Candidates joining the organization can expect to contribute to improving mental and physical health outcomes for a diverse patient population.Role Description This is a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor role based in Oklahoma, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some work from home. The counselor will provide individual, group, and family counseling services, including intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing psychotherapy for clients with a range of mental and behavioral health needs. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, coordinating care with medical and behavioral health team, and participating in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings. The role also involves crisis assessment and intervention, referral to community resources, and patient education on coping strategies and wellness. The counselor is expected to uphold ethical standards, maintain licensure requirements, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive clinical environment.QualificationsActive Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) credential in the state of Oklahoma, or eligibility to obtain LPC licensure within a defined timeframe or LPC-Candidate.Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related mental health field from an accredited institution.Demonstrated experience providing clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-informed counseling or psychotherapy in outpatient or community settings.Strong skills in treatment planning, case management, and coordination of care with interdisciplinary health teams.Ability to maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups.Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive services.Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including reliable internet access for telehealth or remote documentation, and the ability to manage time and priorities independently.Experience in community health, integrated primary care, or rural health settings is beneficial.Experience in play therapy is a huge bonus!Proficiency with basic computer applications and familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.If you are passionate about working with a diverse client population and increasing access to mental health services in rural communities - we’d love to talk to you!
