Team members primarily provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Applicants can expect to join a team committed to professional growth and high-quality mental health services.Role Description This full-time Licensed Professional Counselor role is a hybrid position based in Medford, NJ, with some work-from-home flexibility. The counselor will conduct individual and, when appropriate, group therapy sessions using CBT and DBT, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Day-to-day tasks include completing diagnostic assessments, coordinating care with other providers, and monitoring client progress toward goals. The counselor will provide psychoeducation, crisis support when needed, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure consistent, ethical, and effective care. Participation in supervision, case consultation, and ongoing professional development is expected.QualificationsActive state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent, in good standing, with eligibility to practice in New Jersey.Demonstrated skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with the ability to apply these approaches to diverse client needs.Experience working with diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, OCD, substance and alcohol use disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions.Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and case conceptualization skills, including the ability to document clearly and in compliance with legal and ethical standards.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with a client-centered, culturally responsive approach to care.Ability to manage a full-time caseload, work effectively in a hybrid environment, and use telehealth platforms and electronic health records confidently.Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field; supervision hours completed.Preferred: prior experience in outpatient private practice or community mental health, familiarity with evidence-based outcome measures, and commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
