BlackBridge Behavioral Health is committed to guiding clients and their support systems toward lasting wellness.Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Licensed Professional Counselor. The counselor will conduct individual telehealth therapy sessions, provide clinical assessments, and develop person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers when appropriate, and using evidence-based interventions for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. The role also involves collaborating with the wider clinical team, participating in case consultation as needed, and upholding ethical standards and privacy regulations. Counselors are expected to manage their caseload, maintain reliable availability for clients, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive therapeutic environment.Qualifications Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or equivalent), in good standing, with eligibility to provide telehealth services.Demonstrated experience providing individual psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care) for anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.Strong clinical assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning abilities, including risk assessment and appropriate safety planning.Proficiency with electronic health records, secure telehealth platforms, and maintaining thorough, compliant clinical documentation.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries in a remote setting.Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and providing inclusive, non-discriminatory care to diverse client populations.Ability to work independently, manage a remote caseload, and reliably meet scheduling and administrative expectations in a contract role.Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related behavioral health field; additional certifications or specialized training in trauma, anxiety, or telehealth are beneficial.
