Licensed Veterinary Technician

Animal Clinic East is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and provide dedicated support for surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures.This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who wants to fully utilize their skillset with autonomy, trust, and support in a fast-paced, collaborative general practice environment. From induction through recovery, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, high-quality patient care alongside a veterinary team that values skilled technicians.In this position, you will take an active role in:Coordinating surgical and dental procedure schedulesCalculating and preparing anesthetic medications and drug dosagesInducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia patientsAssisting veterinarians during surgical proceduresPerforming dental prophylaxis and dental radiographyMonitoring patient recovery and ongoing procedural careGuiding clients through patient admission and discharge with confidence and compassionSchedule And CompensationCompensation: $25-27 per hour, for each hour workedThis is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.
