Licensed Veterinary Technician

Animal Clinic of Kalispell is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.We are looking for a versatile, client-focused technician who enjoys the variety and pace of a dynamic general practice. This role offers the opportunity to use your full range of skills—from providing excellent exam room care and educating clients to supporting procedures and collaborating closely with the medical team.We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and professional judgment they bring to every aspect of patient care. In this role, you’ll use your expertise to identify patient needs, anticipate the needs of the veterinary team, and help keep cases moving efficiently. Your contributions will play an important role in elevating the quality of medicine, strengthening the client experience, and ensuring thoughtful, compassionate care from check-in through discharge. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates confidently, and is committed to maintaining a consistently high standard of care.Responsibilities IncludeSupporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflowsPerforming anesthesia induction, monitoring, assisting, and recoveryPerforming dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiographyMaintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentationReviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionatelyIdentifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospitalBuilding strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive serviceThis role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.Schedule And CompensationCompensation: $22 - $28 per hour, for each hour workedThis is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.
