This is an exciting opportunity to work with a portfolio of premier licensed brands and collaborate closely with Design, Sales, Production, and external licensing partners to bring innovative, on-brand home products to market.Role DescriptionThe Licensing Coordinator will play a key role in managing day-to-day communication with licensors, coordinating product approvals, and ensuring that all licensed products meet brand standards, approval requirements, and established timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and foster strong, professional relationships with licensors and licensing partners.Coordinate and track all required licensor approvals, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.Manage the approval process across all stages of product development.Maintain accurate and organized records of submissions, approvals, revisions, feedback, and outstanding action items.Monitor product development timelines and proactively follow up with internal teams and licensors to keep projects on schedule.Identify potential risks related to licensor requirements, brand standards, approvals, or deadlines, and work closely with management and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.Communicate licensor feedback clearly and effectively to Design, Sales, and Production teams, ensuring all requested revisions are properly implemented.Assist with the preparation of presentations, product reviews, line reviews, and other licensing-related materials as needed.Support the team with additional licensing and product development projects as required.Qualifications1–3 years of experience in licensing, product development, home textiles, fashion, accessories, consumer products, or a related field.Ability to work five days per week in our New York office.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-through skills.Excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and licensors.Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and address issues before they impact timelines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
