The Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring swimming areas, ensuring the safety of all guests, and responding quickly and effectively to emergencies. Daily tasks include supervising pool and surrounding areas, enforcing safety rules, conducting regular checks of equipment and water conditions, and providing basic first aid when needed. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness around the pool, supporting incident reporting, and communicating clearly with guests and colleagues to promote a safe and respectful environment.Qualifications Strong swimming ability and water safety skills, including rescue techniques and confident performance under pressure.Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR; relevant lifeguard or safety certifications are highly preferred.Ability to stay alert for extended periods, with solid observation skills and quick decision-making in emergency situations.Clear, professional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members.Commitment to health and safety standards, including enforcing pool rules and maintaining a safe environment.Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a similar safety-focused role is an advantage.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by facility operations.High level of reliability, integrity, and respect for diversity and inclusive workplace practices.
