Lighting Pre-Sales Engineer

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Lighting Pre-Sales Engineer with experience in the Lighting industry. This individual will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and developing accurate cost estimates for materials and related expenses across different classes of estimate. Work closely with project stakeholders to develop and adjust the project budget effectively based on cost estimates. Increase chances of closure by value engineering and working on an optimized solution.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and analyze project specifications, BOQs, product selection, estimations, and technical details.Prepare commercial offers, technical submittals, Commercial & Technical Analysis, etc.Conduct communication with lighting suppliers.Assist the design team in choosing the appropriate items that serve the lighting design.Responsible for the project development schedule and ensuring the submission before deadlines.Track and analyze competition and market pricing.Other related works, Dialux, presentations, compliance, as build drawing to support the material submittal.Maintaining and developing suppliers' and clients’ relationshipsTechnical solution to address customer requirements, assesses customers' met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.Review the project scope, drawings, & specification to develop the cost estimate for the project through different estimate classes as per the estimate guideline.Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors through the commercial department to obtain quotes and pricing information.Clarification of bid conditions and management of the tender preparation.Monitoring of the bid management to ensure it is aligned with the organization's requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience in Project Estimation within the lighting industry is a must.Familiarity with lighting design principles and architectural integration.Proficient in reporting and data analysis using Microsoft Office.Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.Process-oriented individual.Strong negotiation skills.Research skills to support project estimates.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy.
