Line Producer

Role SummaryThe Line Producer is responsible for the day-to-day operational execution of productions, translating creative requirements into practical schedules, crew plans, and cost-controlled workflows. This role manages production logistics on the ground, ensuring shoots run efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget, while proactively addressing risks and changes during production.Key Responsibilities* Build and manage detailed production schedules and shoot plans in collaboration with Producers and Directors.* Lead daily production operations, including call times, run-of-show execution, team coordination, and workflow management.* Own cost control during production by tracking spend, managing changes, and ensuring budget adherence.* Coordinate crew, equipment, locations, transportation, and other logistics to ensure full readiness for production days.* Manage on-set/studio problem-solving and implement contingency plans when required.* Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and approved, including permits, releases, and insurance requirements where applicable.* Supervise production reporting, including daily progress, issues, risks, and next-day needs.* Partner with post-production to ensure smooth handover of footage, metadata, and production notes.Required Qualifications* 5+ years of experience in production, with strong on-set/studio operational leadership.* Proven experience building schedules and managing budgets and cost control.* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.* Excellent communication and leadership across multiple departments.Preferred Skills & Key Competencies* Experience in fast-paced digital content, multi-platform delivery, and/or multi-camera studio workflows.* Familiarity with vendor negotiation and contract coordination.* Familiarity with AI-powered production tools and emerging technologies to support production planning, workflows, and operational efficiency.* Operational leadership.* Cost control & planning.* Risk management.* Calm under pressure.* Clear communication.
