Linux -L3 Infrastructure Engineers

Compute Infrastructure Engineer-LinuxWe are seeking experienced L3 Infrastructure Engineers Linux to support and enhance our compute environment. These roles are integral to ensuring reliability, security, and automation across our technology stack, supporting their mission in research, teaching, and learning.The engineers will be responsible for the daily operations of the compute infrastructure services and work closely with the Infrastructure Engineering teams to deliver stable, secure, and scalable compute services, with a strong emphasis on security, DevOps practices, automation, process compliance, and collaboration.Candidate Profile:● 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Linux systems administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).● Solid understanding of Virtualization (VMware), cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), container platforms, networking, storage, and backup concepts.● Experience with DevOps tools and concepts, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation frameworks such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, & Jenkins.● Familiarity with LAMP stack components and application-level troubleshooting.● Understanding of hardware infrastructure and Data center operations.● Strong focus on security, documentation, and adherence to ITIL and DevOps
