Linux System Administrator

Jobbex IT, a company that empowers people and organizations by matching great talent with great projects, is looking for the next Linux Systems Administrator to join one of our clients.If you feel inspired to make a change and if you want to be part of the cool kid on the block, this opportunity is for you!Be ready to find at Jobbex Portugal the transparent, friendly, and professional work environment you have been looking for.What you'll be doing: Ensure Linux server availability, performance, and security meet business requirements.Manage, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux servers in standalone and clustered environments, using automation wherever applicable.Ensure that all additions, removals, and changes to Linux servers are properly managed through the organization's automation platform.Implement and maintain security policies and compliance requirements across Linux server environments.Work with infrastructure, networking, security, and other technical teams to understand and implement business requirements.Ensure appropriate network connectivity and infrastructure configurations across server environments.Support and maintain Linux clustering, VMware environments, and storage servers.Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure automation, server management, and operational reliability.You'll be a great match if you have:5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration.Hands-on experience with Linux clustering and the administration of clustered environments.Experience with infrastructure automation and automated server management.Experience with VMware and virtualization technologies.Experience with storage servers and storage infrastructure.Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure services and networking topologies.Understanding of security policies, compliance requirements, and infrastructure best practices.Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Good level of English, both written and spoken.Enthusiastic ?If this opportunity sounds like your next challenge, apply and lets talkBy submitting your application, you authorize Jobbex to process and store your personal data for recruitment purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
