We offer candidates the opportunity to do top-tier legal work in an environment defined by stability, collaboration, and professional development.Role Description The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide day-to-day support to litigation attorneys, including drafting, formatting, and preparing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence. Responsibilities include organizing case files, maintaining document management systems, and assisting with discovery, including preparation of exhibits and materials for depositions, hearings, and trials. The role involves managing calendars, scheduling court appearances, meetings, and deadlines, and coordinating communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Additional tasks include general administrative support such as filing, photocopying, data entry, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with firm policies. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Iselin, NJ.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law and Litigation Legal Assistance, with prior experience supporting attorneys in a law firm or legal department.Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.Solid Administrative Assistance skills, including file management, data entry, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.Experience with Calendaring, managing deadlines, scheduling court dates, and coordinating attorney schedules.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under time constraints, and maintain confidentiality in all matters.Proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, paralegal or legal assistant certification, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
