Live Event AV Engineer

Position Summary:The Live Events Audio-Visual Engineer will be joining a highly successful and functional team that supports the needs of Graton Resort & Casino. This position is responsible for the maintenance, assembly and operational duties for a range of live Audio Visual and stage equipment with the purpose of creating the best possible guest experience. This role will assist with the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures, as well as the creation and documentation of preventive maintenance procedures for live event Audio Visual equipment.Required Qualifications:Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.Strong experience with Live Audio Visual events technologies; willing to meet the 24-hour demands of a successful Hotel/Casino operation.Minimum of five (5) years' experience with Audio-Visual event operation with applicable technologies.SMAART, Dante, Avid, and GrandMa certifications are a plus.Experience in A/V systems setups, commissioning, and troubleshooting/maintenance.Familiarity with A/V integrated control systems such as Crestron.Knowledge and direct experience with audio systems.Excellent understanding of signal flow in both audio and video setups.Experience using digital multi-meters, toning and/or testing cables.Background in corporate event operation, stage management, and a strong understanding of IP/networking skills are an advantage.Have a passion for the Audio Visual field and able to learn new technologies in a rapidly evolving industry.Must be at least 21 years of age.
