This individual will drive production performance, support contract grower relationships, and ensure compliance with animal welfare, biosecurity, and operational standards. Qualifications for the Live Production Manager include: 6+ years of leadership experience within poultry or live animal production environments.Strong understanding of flock management, nutrition programs, animal welfare standards, and poultry production best practices.Experience managing large-scale feed, hatchery, and grow-out operations.Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and build effective partnerships with growers and cross-functional stakeholders.BACHELORS DEGREE REQUIREDResponsibilities for the Live Production Manager Include:Provide leadership and strategic direction across feed, hatchery, and live production operations to achieve production, quality, and financial objectives.Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance through data-driven decision making.Collaborate closely with veterinary services, hatchery teams, feed operations, and field personnel to maximize flock performance, health, and productivity.Lead, coach, and develop production staff, field teams, and contract growers while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.Maintain compliance with animal welfare, biosecurity, environmental, food safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting audits and emergency response initiatives.
