At Al-Qadsiah, you’ll play a key role in shaping our legacy, contributing to the nation’s sports vision, and making history every step of the way.Overview:As the Loans and Market Intelligence Manager at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will lead the club’s loans and player placement processes, aligning individual player pathways with market intelligence, partner clubs, and wider strategic objectives. You will ensure loan decisions are effectively planned, executed, monitored, and reviewed to support player development, squad planning, and asset value protection.
Key Responsibilities
Loans ManagementCoordinate the full loan cycle, from initial planning and placement through to monitoring and final evaluationOversee and quality-control loan monitoring reports, weekly updates, and mid-loan evaluations across First Team, Emerging Talent, and Academy playersEnsure every loaned player has a clear and up-to-date Player Pathway Plan, reviewed ahead of each transfer windowWork closely with the Emerging Talent Manager and Head of Academy Scouting to ensure alignment across player pathwaysMarket Intelligence and DatabasesLead the ongoing maintenance and effective use of the Market Options Database alongside the Scouting Coordinator and Lead ScoutsCoordinate Club Intelligence and Academy Intelligence reporting across priority markets for loans and player placementsStructure and oversee the References DatabaseCo-lead the Monthly Market Intelligence Digest, with a focus on loans, placements, regulations, and market trendsMarket Opportunities and Player PlacementWork closely with Scouts to identify suitable destination clubs based on playing model, competitive level, role, environment, language, and realistic playing opportunitiesPrioritise and track player opportunities through structured market intelligence processes and databasesAct as the primary operational contact with receiving clubs and support key decisions around recalls, club changes, transfers, and extensionsSupport the strategic use of TransferRoom, ensuring opportunities align with club strategy and individual player pathwaysPartnerships and Network DevelopmentSupport the Head of Recruitment and Squad Planning in assessing and developing partner clubs for loans and long-term player pathwaysProvide sporting and market insight into partnership evaluations, development objectives, and monitoring KPIsBuild and maintain a strong network of loan managers, sporting directors, clubs, and key football stakeholdersGovernance, Reporting and StrategyPrepare and maintain loan scenarios, player pathways, and destination club options for the Pre-Market Operational PlanProvide market intelligence for transfer window tracking and contribute to post-market performance reviewsEnsure Player Market Cards and Valuation Notes reflect current market intelligenceMaintain consistent and high-quality reporting across all loan, pathway, and market intelligence processesProfessional Development and ComplianceRemain up to date with developments across football markets, regulations, and relevant industry toolsMaintain the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive informationSupport additional responsibilities aligned with the needs of the football departmentQualificationsDesirable:Relevant training in Sports Management, Scouting, Football Operations, or equivalentAdditional professional certifications such as PFSA, UEFA, or equivalent coursesSkills, Knowledge and Experience:Essential:Experience working within loans, market intelligence, recruitment operations, or football strategy at a professional football clubProven experience managing player loan processes within professional footballStrong knowledge of deal structures and key league regulations, including loan limits, registration rules, and foreign player quotasStrong knowledge of key target markets, including high-budget and bridge leagues, and suitable club environments for player placementsAdvanced ability to structure databases, logs, and reporting to produce clear, decision-ready informationStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an understanding of both sporting and financial considerationsStrong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with clubs, agents, sporting directors, and loan managersExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh levels of integrity, confidentiality, and discretionProficiency with scouting tools and advanced Excel or Google SheetsFluency in EnglishValid driver's license and ability to travel internationallyDesirable:Proven experience in scouting and talent identificationKnowledge and regular use of TransferRoom and other market platformsAdditional language skillsWhy Join Al-Qadsiah?Be Part of the Legacy: Join a club that’s redefining the future of Saudi sports, striving to lead the competition and set new standards of excellence.Experience the Culture: Thrive in an environment that values quality, accountability, diversity, synergy, innovation, and ambition, while embracing harmony—this is the Qadsiah Way.The Executives in Sport Group are retained on behalf of Al Qadsiah SC to make this appointment.
