Logistics & Collection Coordinator - Food Trading/Ship Spare Parts Trading

Our Client looking for a Logistics & Collection Coordinator to manage and coordinate daily product collection activities from various locations across the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning tasks to drivers, monitoring collection progress, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely and efficient execution of daily operations.The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, good knowledge of UAE locations and road networks, and the ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment. Basic petty cash handling and expense tracking may also be required.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage daily product collection activities across various locations in the UAE.Assign collection tasks to drivers and ensure timely completion of deliveries and collections.Communicate collection schedules, pickup locations, and specific instructions to drivers.Monitor driver movements and collection progress, providing regular updates to the relevant departments.Coordinate with the sales, procurement, warehouse, operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.Handle urgent collection requests, last-minute changes, and operational challenges efficiently.Maintain accurate records of collection schedules, driver assignments, completed tasks, and pending collections.Follow up with drivers to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time.Assist with petty cash management, expense recording, and supporting documentation when required.Ensure clear and timely communication between drivers, operations, and other departments.Identify delays or operational issues and take appropriate action to minimize disruptions.Perform other logistics and coordination duties as assigned by management.Requirements & QualificationsPrevious experience in logistics coordination, transportation, dispatch, operations, or a similar role is preferred.Good knowledge of UAE roads, locations, and transportation routes is an advantage.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and make quick decisions under pressure.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to take responsibility.Basic numerical skills and the ability to handle petty cash responsibly.Good working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, email, and basic computer applications.Ability to coordinate effectively with drivers and multiple departments.Flexibility to manage changing schedules and urgent operational requirements
