Apply & track with Apply EdgeLogistics & Import/Export CoordinatorCompany: Oldtimer Motorcycles Location: Motor City / Dubai Autodrome, Dubai, UAE — on-site Employment type: Full-timeAbout the roleWe are a premium motorcycle gear, parts, and accessories retailer and regional distributor supplying the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.We are hiring a Logistics & Import/Export Coordinator to run our shipments end to end — documentation, customs clearance, forwarder coordination, delivery — and to keep the paperwork and the freight costs behind them accurate.This is a hands-on operational role, not a supervisory or purely clerical one. You will personally prepare the documents, speak to the brokers, chase the shipments, check what the forwarders bill us, and keep the files in order.Key responsibilitiesManage import and export shipments end to end, with direct hands-on involvement at every stage of the shipment process.Handle inbound shipments from Europe and the USA: customs clearance, shipping documentation, coordination with suppliers, agents and freight forwarders, and delivery arrangements.Prepare and review Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and all other import/export documentation.Classify products under the correct HS Codes and maintain the supporting records.Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and import/export requirements.Maintain complete, organised and audit-ready import/export files: invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, customs documents, certificates, and related correspondence.Track shipments from dispatch to delivery and resolve delays, discrepancies and clearance issues.Verify freight charges against quotations, challenge incorrect billing, and process logistics invoices.Support invoice reconciliation and keep logistics cost records accurate.Prepare regular shipment and cost reports.RequirementsEssential — applications that do not meet these will not be reviewed:Minimum 3 years of direct, hands-on experience managing import and export shipments — personally handling the process, not supervising or assisting.Import experience from Europe and/or the USA, covering customs clearance, shipping documentation, supplier and forwarder coordination, and delivery arrangements.Strong working knowledge of Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, HS Codes, customs documentation, and shipment coordination.Confident with numbers: able to check freight invoices line by line, spot billing errors, and reconcile charges against quotations.Strong discipline in documentation and filing of import/export shipment records.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Currently based in the UAE.Advantageous:Accounting or bookkeeping background.Experience with UAE customs procedures and portals (Dubai Trade / Mirsal).Experience with an ERP system.Experience in automotive, motorcycle, spare parts, or retail distribution.What we offerSalary: depending on experience.[Visa / medical insurance / annual leave / other benefits]A small, direct team where your work is visible and your decisions matter.How to applyEmail your CV to hr@oldtimer-me.com with the subject line: Logistics & Import/Export CoordinatorHow many years have you personally handled import shipments, and which countries did they ship from?Which customs documents do you prepare yourself, and which does your broker prepare?Which ERP or accounting system have you used, and for how long?
