TEU Global Sdn Bhd is committed to building, improving, and connecting, rather than simply moving cargo.Role Description The Logistics & Export Shipping Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Petaling Jaya, Selangor Malaysia. This role is responsible for coordinating daily export shipping activities, including preparing documentation, scheduling shipments, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The coordinator manages shipping and receiving operations, tracks inventory related to outbound and inbound shipments, and liaises with customers, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery. The role includes responding to customer inquiries, resolving shipment issues, and providing status updates to internal teams and clients. The coordinator also supports continuous process improvement efforts, maintains accurate records, and ensures operational safety and efficiency within the warehouse and logistics environment.ResponsibilitiesHandle import & export shipment documentation and release procedures from booking through final document release.Prepare, review and submit Shipping Instructions (SI) within carrier/co-loader cut-off requirements.Prepare and verify House Bill of Lading (HBL) details and coordinate Master Bill of Lading (MBL)documentation where applicable.Send draft B/Ls to customers for verification and obtain approval within required timelines.Coordinate amendments and corrections with customers, carriers, co-loaders and overseas agents.Import pre-alert handling, Notice of Arrival, collection of freight/local charges, DO/cargo release, delivery coordination and monitoring free time/demurrage/detention.Ensure freight terms, shipper/consignee details, cargo particulars, container/seal numbers and other B/L information are accurate.Monitor vessel departure and obtain on-board confirmation/final B/L.Coordinate Original B/L, Sea Waybill, Telex Release/Surrender and other applicable release methods according to customer instructions and company procedures.Ensure applicable freight and charges are collected or credit approval is confirmed before document/cargo release, where required.Release final shipping documents to customers and overseas agents after completion of internal release requirements.Prepare and send pre-alerts with complete shipping documents to destination offices/agents.Maintain proper records of document issuance, amendments, surrender/release instructions and final documentation.Ensure export files are fully documented, costed and invoiced before operational closure.Familiarity with freight-forwarding or ERP systems is an advantage.Familiarity with Malaysia e-Invoice processes is an added advantage.Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.Good attention to detail and ability to handle multiple active shipment files.Able to coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, overseas agents and internal teams.Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field preferred; relevant industry experience will also be considered.
