The ideal candidate has strong fashion/apparel experience and is comfortable working cross-functionally across Production, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and external warehouse and logistics partners.The role requires someone who is extremely detail-oriented, proactive, and able to identify operational issues before they impact customers or revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse OperationsOwn day-to-day communication and management of 3PL and warehouse partnersMaintain clear visibility into inbound inventory, receiving dates, available inventory, and outbound shipmentsEnsure inventory is received, allocated, put away, and reflected accurately in company systemsInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between internal systems and warehouse recordsOversee returns processing, restocking, and inventory adjustmentsEstablish clear processes and accountability around warehouse performanceWholesale & DTC FulfillmentOversee fulfillment across wholesale, e-commerce, specialty, major, off-price, and dropship channelsTrack open orders and ensure goods ship accurately and on timePartner closely with Sales on order status, allocations, extensions, cancellations, and shipping deadlinesManage routing, compliance, EDI requirements, shipping documentation, and account-specific requirementsProactively identify orders at risk of missing delivery windows and escalate issuesPartner with Finance to resolve chargebacks, deductions, payment holds, and shipping discrepanciesInbound LogisticsTrack finished goods from production through warehouse receiptMaintain visibility into WIP, ex-factory dates, freight bookings, in-transit inventory, and expected warehouse delivery datesCoordinate domestic and international freight forwarders and shipping partnersEnsure required customs and shipping documentation is accurate and completeCommunicate delays and potential risks to relevant teams before they impact deliveryCross-Functional OperationsAct as the operational liaison between Production, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and warehouse partnersEnsure teams have accurate and timely information regarding inventory and order statusSupport Customer Service with shipping information, proof of delivery, returns, and fulfillment-related issuesDevelop clear workflows and processes to improve communication and accountability across departmentsReporting & AccountabilityMaintain a weekly logistics and fulfillment WIPProvide management with clear reporting on:Incoming inventory and expected receipt datesOpen wholesale ordersDTC fulfillmentLate or at-risk shipmentsReturnsInventory discrepanciesWarehouse performanceChargebacks and compliance issuesLead weekly logistics/operations meetings and ensure action items are followed through to completionIdentify recurring operational issues and implement processes to prevent them
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, customer operations, or wholesale operations, ideally within fashion/apparelStrong understanding of both wholesale and DTC order fulfillmentExperience managing warehouse and/or 3PL relationshipsExperience with wholesale routing, compliance, EDI, chargebacks, and major/specialty accountsStrong inventory management and reconciliation skillsExperience coordinating domestic and international freightComfortable working with ERP, order management, warehouse, and e-commerce systems, A2000 preferred.Advanced Excel and reporting skillsExtremely organized with strong follow-through and attention to detailAble to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communicator who can work effectively across Sales, Production, Finance, Customer Service, and external partners
