Logistics & Transportation Manager

Role DescriptionGlobe Alliance Company is looking for an experienced Logistics & Transportation Manager to oversee and manage the company’s logistics, transportation, fleet coordination, material deliveries, and distribution activities.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, supplies, and other project-related resources across GAC’s operational sites and client locations. The role will involve coordinating with Procurement, Sourcing, Warehouse, Operations, Project Management, and Site Teams to ensure smooth logistics operations and uninterrupted project execution.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in logistics and transportation management, preferably within the Construction, Industrial Services, or Material Supply sectors, with a proven ability to manage transportation schedules, delivery operations, fleet utilization, logistics costs, and multiple site requirements.Experience RequiredMinimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Transportation, Fleet Management, or Supply Chain Operations.At least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.Experience in Construction, Industrial Services, Material Supply, or project-based operations is strongly preferred.Proven experience managing transportation activities, delivery schedules, fleet operations, and material movement across multiple sites.Experience coordinating deliveries of construction materials, equipment, maintenance supplies, and operational consumables.Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is strongly preferred.Experience managing third-party transport providers, logistics vendors, drivers, and fleet-related service providers.Experience controlling logistics costs, monitoring vehicle utilisation, and improving delivery efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Transportation ManagementFleet & Vehicle ManagementConstruction & Facility Management SupportVendor & Third-Party Transport ManagementCoordination with Procurement & WarehouseCost Control & Operational EfficiencySafety, Compliance & DocumentationTeam Management & ReportingRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 8–12 years of relevant professional experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations.Strong practical knowledge of transportation planning, fleet coordination, material movement, and delivery management.Experience managing logistics operations across multiple sites or projects.Good understanding of Saudi transportation requirements and applicable operational compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and operational analysis.Experience using fleet management systems, transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, or logistics tracking tools is preferred.A relevant professional certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Fleet Management is an advantage.About UsGlobe Alliance Company (GAC) is a dynamic and growing service-based organisation headquartered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing comprehensive and integrated business solutions across multiple sectors.
