Logistics & Warehouse Senior Supervisor

Role Purpose:To supervise daily logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely distribution of goods, and compliance with safety and quality standards to support overall supply chain objectives.Job Accountabilities:Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch activities, to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.Supervise logistics activities, coordinating with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.Implement and enforce safety and quality standards within the warehouse to protect personnel, goods, and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Monitor warehouse and logistics KPIs, such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory accuracy, to evaluate performance and drive operational improvements.Manage stock levels and organize storage layouts to optimize space utilization and enhance efficiency within the warehouse.Coordinate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to align logistics and warehousing activities with demand forecasts and business requirements.Train and guide warehouse staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and best practices to build a competent and compliant team.Maintain records of inventory movements, inbound/outbound shipments, and warehouse expenses, supporting reporting and budget management.Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 4-6 years in logistics or warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is preferred.Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control tools.
