Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for Kabn’s growing luxury cabin network, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission of sustainable, nature-focused hospitality. This full-time, on-site role based in Dundee will oversee day-to-day operations, including site management, guest experience standards, and coordination with design, construction, and culinary partners. The Director will lead business planning, financial management, and performance tracking to support profitable growth and successful expansion into new European locations. Responsibilities include building and guiding cross-functional teams, cultivating relationships with investors, landowners, and key partners, and safeguarding brand integrity across all retreats and experiences. The Director will also champion sustainability initiatives, risk management, and continuous improvement of operational processes and guest services.QualificationsLeadership and management experience, including team building, cross-functional collaboration, and executive-level decision-making.Background in hospitality, travel, or tourism operations, ideally within luxury, boutique, or experiential accommodation environments.Strategic planning and business development skills, with experience in scaling ventures, market expansion, or partnerships with investors and landowners.Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support sustainable growth.Strong stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with partners, media, and local communities.Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and responsible tourism practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand publicly and internally.Experience managing projects from concept through execution, including working with designers, contractors, or external service providers.Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business, hospitality management, tourism, or a related field.Willingness to work on-site in Dundee and travel to cabin locations and partner sites as needed.
