Logistics Coordinator

Worldwide Logistics Inc. is looking for an experienced logistics coordinator with an Export an /or Import background. As a Logistics Coordinator you will work with internal sales/pricing staff, our curated list of vendors and offices across the globe in order to make each international shipment a success.

Responsibilities

Complete process of shipments including:Daily tracking and tracing of customer shipmentsCommunicating with ocean / air carriers, truckers, warehouses for arranging shipments and follow up on shipment updatesAccurate and complete documentation preparationCompliance with CBP timing cutoffs for AMS filings, ISF Filings and other Entry filingsMaintain thorough communication with client and overseas offices throughout shipment processArranging payments to vendors for services rendered utilizing transportation management software for document generationMaintaining reports online or in Excel if required by the accountWorking in conjunction with other staff to complete required transportation serviceComplete accurate profit and loss analysis for each shipment

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication with teammates, supervisor and clientsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyAptitude to work independently on daily tasksCapacity to critically analyze a problem and generate possible solutions independently and cooperativelyPreferred SkillsAt least 2 years handling international shipments at a freight forwarder or NVOFamiliarity with HazmatExperience with AMS and or ISF filings1 year of experience with CargoWiseExperience:Logistics: 1 year (Preferred)Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)CargoWise: 1 year (Preferred)
